The boot was signed in Madrid on 23 July 2025 during a private signing session. Roberto Carlos enjoyed an extraordinary career with Real Madrid between 1996 and 2007, making 584 appearances, scoring 71 goals and winning 13 major trophies, including multiple La Liga titles and UEFA Champions League victories.

At international level, he represented Brazil national football team at three FIFA World Cups, reaching the final in 1998 and lifting the trophy in the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Known for his explosive pace, powerful long range shots and unforgettable free kicks, Roberto Carlos is widely regarded as one of the greatest full backs of all time.
