Marcelo joined Real Madrid from Fluminense in January 2007 and went on to become one of the most successful and popular players in the club’s modern history. His extraordinary technical ability, attacking instincts and creativity helped redefine what was expected from a left-back.
The 2019/20 season brought another major trophy for Marcelo and Real Madrid. Under Zinedine Zidane, Los Blancos won La Liga after an impressive finish to the campaign, securing the club’s 34th Spanish league title.
Marcelo played his part throughout the title-winning season and scored in the memorable 2-0 victory over Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabéu in March 2020. The win moved Real Madrid above their great rivals at the top of La Liga.
That league triumph added to an extraordinary collection of honours accumulated during Marcelo’s long career in Madrid. Over more than 15 years with the club, he won six La Liga titles and five UEFA Champions League trophies, as well as numerous domestic and international honours.
Marcelo eventually became Real Madrid captain and departed the club in 2022 as one of its most decorated players. His flair, personality and attacking partnership down the left side with Cristiano Ronaldo made him a fan favourite and one of the defining players of a hugely successful era.

Often, yes. Shirts signed at our own private signing sessions come with a signing photo, and many other pieces include photographic proof of the signature. Where that proof exists it is listed with the product or sent with your order, and if you cannot see it on the page you are welcome to ask us for it before you buy.
We sell signed club and national team shirts spanning the 1980s to the present, alongside signed boots and signed photos. Some are official retro or officially licensed replica shirts and others are current-season shirts — the exact type is named in each product’s title and description, so you always know what you are buying. What is the same on every piece is the signature: hand-signed in person and certified.
The price follows the piece rather than a fixed rate. The player, the era, how rare the shirt is and how the signature was obtained all move it, and framed pieces cost more than loose shirts because of the frame itself and the secure packaging they need. Certification plays a part as well: third-party authentication by a house such as Beckett or PSA/DNA is a separate process from our own in-house certificate.
We sell them as collectibles, not as financial products, so we make no promise about what a shirt will be worth later.
