Adriano began his professional career in Brazil before moving to Europe at a young age, where he quickly established himself in Italian football. His most successful period came with Inter Milan, where he became one of the club’s leading attacking stars in the mid 2000s and wore the iconic number 10 shirt during some of the strongest seasons of his career.

Internationally, Adriano played a key role for the Brazil national football team during one of its most talented generations. He was instrumental in Brazil’s success at the Copa América 2004, finishing as the tournament’s top scorer and helping secure the title.
